A game-changing, hydrogen-driven well stimulation technology — delivering gains of up to 2,000%, without hydraulic fracturing or special equipment.
Conventional methods address one cause of productivity decline. HYDROSTIM eliminates all major damage factors simultaneously in a single controlled cycle.
Developed over 25+ years at IPMach NAS of Ukraine — formerly the USSR leading institute in hydrogen energy.
Conventional methods target one cause at a time — HYDROSTIM resolves all of them at once, in a single, multifactorial yet gentle treatment.
HYDROSTIM is, above all, a technology built on a comprehensive approach. It integrates thermal, chemical, physical and mechanical action into one treatment — precisely managed, fully controlled, and directed exactly where formation damage and low productivity challenges live, and nowhere else. Every stage is engineered to work together, not in isolation. Nothing is left to chance for the well, the reservoir, or the environment.
The economics follow the same logic: one treatment instead of several, standard equipment instead of a specialised fleet — a productivity gain that starts paying for itself in weeks, not seasons, and keeps paying for years.
Proven across 500+ well treatments in 9 countries, over 25+ years of continuous field deployment.
Two specially formulated process fluids — Component A and Component B — are pumped sequentially down the well and placed at the bottomhole, near the productive formation. When they mix in the casing, a fully controlled multi-stage chemical reaction begins.
This reaction generates a powerful combination of effects: intense heat, activated hydrogen gas, hot acids, alkali, nitrogen oxides (NOx), carbon oxides (CO, CO2), and in-situ generated surfactants — all produced directly in the formation zone. These active agents penetrate deep into the reservoir rock, cleaning the pore space, dissolving damage agents, creating new micro-scale flow channels, and restoring — or even exceeding — the formation's original permeability.
The well is then shut in for 12–24 hours to allow the reactions to complete and the active agents to penetrate the formation. A neutraliser fluid is then pumped to terminate the reactions and consolidate the treatment effect. The well is then brought back on production.
The outcome: a well that flows again — often at rates significantly higher than its pre-damage baseline — with a sustained, long-lasting production effect.

HYDROSTIM uses only standard workover rigs or CTU already on site.
Unlike conventional stimulation, every stage of HYDROSTIM is precisely managed: temperature, pressure, chemical composition and duration.
